Are casinos evil?

Gambling is banned in India and there only three states that allow casinos to set up shop. Why is that? Are Casinos Evil? Is there something wrong with playing casino games? We do not think so but don’t just take our word for it. Read on to understand why we think so.

Are Casinos Evil?

We don’t think so. They are offering a chance for you to have some fun betting on a match that you enjoy watching or maybe play roulette or try your hand at blackjack. Yes, these are games where people lose a lot of money on occasions but there also many that win massive sums as well.

The casinos have nothing to do with it really. Everyone comes with their own luck and their own set of skills.

The reason why gambling is banned in India is down to an archaic Public Gambling Act of 1867 that was set up by the British. Just the fact that this law is still in place in a country like India is incredible. Incidentally, sports betting and online casinos are now legal in England, the very people that wrote this law.

Also, gambling and playing casino games are a part of Indian culture. Diwali, Holi, Janamashtmi, or just traveling in the train with friends are all opportunities to play a few cards, a little rummy, or maybe Teen Patti.

These are the same games that are being offered by online casinos. Are Casinos Evil? We don’t think so, especially when they are offering you the chance to play the same games that you normally do!

There is no doubt, though, that there is an element of addictiveness in how people play these casino games. The lure of money is real and the chance to get rich quick is difficult to give up. Once again, online casinos offer plenty of tools that can limit the amount of money/time you play on their platform.
